Our Metis Collection was inspired by classical paintings depicting the Turkish baths, known as hamams. We found great inspiration in this tantalizing 1890 painting. This work was created during one of the brightest and most culturally significant periods of the Orient. The amazing towels of our Metis collection were woven based on this special painting depicting a Turkish bath. The soft sheen of pure natural Turkish cotton is sure to make an impression on you.

Our Metis towels have been crafted using the same weaving techniques that were used centuries ago. A special thread blend containing 12 different kinds of cotton, acquired from local growers across Turkish villages, is used to provide this collection with incredible softness, marvelous hang, and fast drying capabilities.
